Meet Sam
Marketing DirectorAs the Marketing Director, I am excited about leveraging my analytical and creative skillsets to bolster our brand visibility, foster community engagement, and drive positive growth for our company. It is an honor to join a team known throughout Maine for its professionalism, trustworthiness, and experience.
In true “Mainer” fashion, I grew up loving both the ocean and the mountains. I boated in the Scarborough Marsh, explored tidepools at the beach, fished our lakes and rivers, and skied at Sugarloaf. Having an adventurous spirit, I attended Hobart William Smith College in Upstate New York and continued westward upon graduation, starting my professional career as a teacher in Jackson, Wyoming.
I later pursued an MBA at Colorado University, Boulder Leeds School of Business, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Post-graduation, I ventured into the business world, launching a children's educational toy company that garnered national recognition. This entrepreneurial endeavor honed my marketing and leadership skills and instilled a deep understanding of grace and grit.
My time “away” was full of wonderful experiences, but Maine always held a special place in my heart. In 2019, I joined the Boomerang movement and returned home. I live in Cumberland Center with my wife, two young boys, and our loving pup. I can’t imagine a better place to live, and I’m excited to share many Maine adventures with my children.
