Professional, Experienced, Resourceful
Helping clients buy and sell residential real estate has been my passion for more than 20 years. I have extensive experience as a buyer's broker and relocation specialist and am dedicated to helping both buyers and sellers define and achieve their objectives. My prior experience included managing book stores for ten years, which required the same approach I utilize today—resourceful and energetic service, superior communication skills and taking great pleasure in finding the right match for the client.
The Maine Lifestyle
I have lived in Maine since 1978 and love living near the ocean, whether sailing along the coast or relaxing at the beach. Portland is extraordinary because it offers all the urban amenities on a smaller scale. I welcome the opportunity to introduce you to the surrounding towns and neighborhoods.
Home and Family
My husband and I raised our three active daughters in Falmouth; our family included 2 dogs and a horse, so life was never dull! We now reside in a downtown Portland Condo, and thoroughly enjoy the ability to walk to museums, restaurants, our sailboat on the waterfront as well as to our respective offices. We love to sail and travel and we spend time each summer on the islands off the Maine coast with my twin sister and her family.
Searching for a new home can be enormously stressful, especially when moving to a new, unfamiliar community. Sandy Johnson provided the perfect blend of professional perspective, practical advice, and genuinely helpful support in helping me to find my new home in Portland. I've owned several homes and have never had a better broker experience!
We were incredibly lucky to work with Sandy Johnson for the sale of our condo and purchase of our new home. Sandy's experience, knowledge and dedication were pivotal to closing two tricky transactions and getting us the family home of our dreams.
Sandy Johnson is not only a gifted and wonderful realtor, but, when it comes right down to it, she's just an amazing person. She is organized, focused, incredibly thorough, thoughtful and doggedly supports her clients. She has the tenacity to hang in there--in our case for a long year and a half while we looked for the right house-and she's never anything but graceful and hardworking. We now consider Sandy not just our realtor but a close friend.
