April continued to see unprecedented trends. Properties in Cumberland County are selling faster and for more money than ever before. The absorption rate is .79 and the sold-to-list ratio is now 106.6%.
April 2021 did, however, see a significant increase in new listings. It’s worth mentioning that we are now comparing year-over-year stats in a post-covid world. New listings were up a total of 42% from April 2020.
Sellers now have more information about COVID-19 than they did during this same period last year. It is possible that Sellers are now feeling more confident in listing their home and want to capitalize on this tense market.
